Sherry Iverson
Director, Women's & Children's Community Education

Sherry is the Director of Women's and Children's Community Education for St. Luke's Regional Medical Center. This department is the link between the community and the hospital in all areas that touch women and their children. Classes from birth and parenting to breastfeeding support groups to injury prevention programs are dedicated to the mission of this department, which is to improve the health of our community. The Women’s Fitness Celebration is a wonderful addition to the women's services of the hospital, serving as a signature event to emphasis the importance of women of all ages to take good care of themselves and their families.

Sherry is a native Idahoan and has been with St. Luke's for 20 years. Sherry's background and education as a nurse has brought her along the career path of labor and delivery room nurse, childbirth educator, community health educator and now director of a diverse range of departments at St. Luke's, all dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and their families. She serves as the Executive Director of the Idaho Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is an adjunct professor at Boise State University.

Sherry and her husband have a married daughter, Deedra, and a son-in-law, Daric, who live in Boise and Andrea, a recent college graduate, working in Portland. Sherry is actively involved in many programs in the community. She currently serves on the Girl Scout Board as their President, which ensures unlimited supply of Girl Scout cookies!
