Tanda Weeks
5K Coordinator

After being a first-time Celebration participant in 2003, Tanda was inspired to leave her job in finance and contract administration to pursue a career in event planning and public relations.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and now works for the event that motivated that radical change.

Tanda began volunteering during event week registration and in the “Over 70’s” booth during the 2004 Celebration.  In 2005, she served as 5K Assistant and officially joined the Celebration staff in 2006.  Tanda’s attention to detail and enthusiasm enrich her position.  Through her association with the Celebration she also began producing events for the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage in 2006.

On a more personal level, Tanda has been married six years to Monte, and they enjoy their sons Cannon, 5 and Cash, 2.  Tanda loves to dine out, play dodgeball, camp in the Idaho outdoors, and catch some zzz’s whenever possible.
