Invited Elite Athletes
St. Luke’s Women’s Fitness Celebration has a limited budget for lodging expenses for top competitors. Runners and Wheelchair Racers who are interested in participating in the Celebration as an elite athlete MAY be eligible for lodging assistance. Please contact Sherry Iverson, for further information. Prize money will be awarded to the top three Elite Runners and the top five Elite Wheelchair Racers.

Idaho Elite Athlete Awards
Athletes who are residents of the state of Idaho will have the opportunity to compete for prize money in the 2012 Celebration 5K. Be part of this extraordinary event by being an Idaho Elite Runner and run to win part of the $1,850 total prize purse for Idaho athletes. The top five finishers from Idaho will receive prize money. Recognition will be given on stage at the Awards Ceremony in Ann Morrison Park

Idaho female residents that can verify a time of under 21 minutes for a 5K course are invited to be part of the Celebration Elite Run Division.

RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ELITE ATHLETES

Elite athletes are able to warm up prior to the event on Capitol Blvd between Bannock Street and Idaho Street.

A truck is available to transport athlete clothing to the Finish Line Party. This truck is parked on Main Street in front of the Egyptian Theatre. Athlete clothing will be taken to Ann Morrison Park and available behind the Awards Stage.

For those who win prize money, please stay for the Elite Athlete presentation on the Awards Stage after the 5K.
