I
received a ticket for parking illegally during the
5K event. Will you pay for it?
Thanks for the offer, but no thanks, we pay plenty
of legal city fees as it is for park permits, Police
Officers for traffic safety, fire permits, you name
it, we pay it. Please continue to adhere to existing
city laws - even on Celebration Saturday.

What
is the difference between the Blue and Purple Wave?
The
only difference is the Blue Wave gathers on the West
side of Capitol Blvd (near KeyBank) and the Purple Wave gathers
on the East side of Capitol Blvd (near City Hall).
Both waves are for the non-competitive participants who would like to walk
or jog in the 5K.

I
want to coordinate my shorts with the event shirt,
what color should I buy?
The event shirts will once again be a white cotton shirt. To coordinate
your
shorts, wear black. It is always slimming. Black goes
with everything and it will definitely go with the
event shirt.

How come the Stroller Division can't go as the
first Wave?
We'd like that too, but the safety issues involved
with having Strollers leading a 5K are a bit like
trying to protect a balsa wood boat during a tidal
wave. We care about YOU and YOUR CHILDREN too much
to put them in harm's way.

How do I get downtown for the 5K?
We recommend riding the shuttles from Boise Towne
Square or driving with a friend
or being dropped off.
Boise
shuttles will run from Boise Towne Square starting
at 6:45am until 8:15am on Celebration Saturday and
return after the 5K.
If
you will be driving with a friend - don't worry, there
are plenty of parking spots available in downtown
Boise. For downtown parking recommendations check
out our parking lot list parking

How
far is 3.1 miles?
It is 5000 meters (5km) or in Boise it can
